Three armored VERGE fighters descending a torchlit stone stairway toward a red glow, with the VERGE logo above them

Underground · Unsanctioned · Unseen

A fighting game about the moment before you break — and what climbs out the other side. No sanction. No rules. No names, only what you become in the ring.

The Concept

Every fighter here has already lost everything once.

VERGE is a dark, semi-realistic fighting game set around an unsanctioned combat circuit for people who've crossed a threshold most never come back from. Something in them broke — and what grew back isn't quite human anymore.

There's no league, no ranking board, no highlight reel. Just a location passed by word of mouth, a crowd that doesn't ask questions, and fighters who go by what they do in the ring, not who they were before it.

Built for players who want weight, consequence, and identity in every exchange — not a roster of skins, but a roster of people who had to become something else to survive.

The Roster

Three faces. Dozens more waiting in the dark.

The final roster is being built out to dozens of fighters — these four are early combatant designs from the current production pass. Names, styles, and lore are still being locked as the club grows.

FIGHTER 01
Fighter 01 — armored combatant with glowing orange circuitry and a cybernetic arm

Ashen

Close-quarters / burst damage

Fights like something's still on fire under the suit. Short bursts, brutal openings, no patience left for a long round.

FIGHTER 02
Fighter 02 — silver armored combatant with ice crystal shoulder plating

Reaper

Zone control / punish

Slows the fight down until it's fought on their terms. Every crystal spike is a wall you shouldn't have walked into.

FIGHTER 03
Fighter 03 — combatant made of glowing translucent water

Jett

Evasive / counter

Never fully there. Reads take shape and dissolve mid-swing — the fight only ends once they let it.

Classified

Dozens more are being built for the full roster. Every one of them earned their way into the ring the same way.

Game Modes

Three ways into the ring.

VERGE isn't a single format — it's a circuit. How you fight changes depending on which night you walked into.

01

Waves

Solo survival against escalating fighters. No breaks between rounds, no mercy in the scaling — just you, a dwindling stamina bar, and the next body stepping into the light.

Solo / Survival
02

1v1 — Battle PvP

The purest version of the club: one fighter, one opponent, no interference. Ranked duels built around read-and-punish combat and the roster's clashing fighting styles.

Ranked / PvP
03

Tournament

A large-scale, last-fighter-standing bracket where dozens drop in and the circle closes as the night goes on. Alliances form and break fast — everyone's here to be the one name left when the lights go up.

Large-scale / Elimination

The World

There's no address. Just a fight, and a way in that finds you.

VERGE takes place in the margins of a city that's stopped asking what happened to the people who disappear into its underground — and what comes back out changed. The club isn't a place so much as a rumor with a schedule.

VERGE is in active development. A playable demo is coming to Steam — no release date yet, just the next step in the ring.
